The Storm 2020 Memorial at La Puerta del Sol
The Storm It is a memorial sculpture installation of the crisis of the COVID 19 in 2020. It will be located in the Plaza de la Puerta del Sol in Madrid. This location is chosen since Spain was one of the countries where the more restrictive social measures to contain the pandemic.

The installation represents the resistance of society, its adaptation to the epidemic and the dire consequences that it caused during 2020. The installation of the memorial in Puerta del Sol is made up of a representation of contagion peaks. Eight die-cut titanium waves are proposed that will create the lattice effect. The proposal was presented in the contest Tamayouz 2020 Memorial Challence. You can access and vote for it if you like it.
