Home renovation in Vista Bella, Murcia
Given the proximity to the river, the house suffered from significant humidity problems, requiring a comprehensive rehabilitation of the house.
The rehabilitation of the house in Vista Bella raised the replacement of the gabled roof and the implantation of an upper floor. Maintaining the central load-bearing wall, which was planned to be cleaned to reveal the brick. The living room of the house is oriented towards the patio being distributed in double height to emphasize the importance of space. And a glazing to the outside to blur the barrier between home and garden.
The old load-bearing wall, already clean of the cladding, is used to segregate the main spaces of the house. In addition to serving as a parapet for the upper floor distributor. In this way, the wall is used, incorporating it as a visual element. Providing a solid element that conceptually reflects the glass facade in an opposite way to generate a space to locate the living room of the house.
